As reported by U.S. Magazine, Saturday (31/12/2011), British comedy actor filed for divorce in court in Los Angeles, United States, on Friday (12/30/2011). Reasons for divorce because of incompatibility between the two.
"Sadly, Katy and I have to end the marriage. I will always admire her and I'll always be friends with her," said Russell told U.S. Weekly.
Previously, the news had circulated Katy and Russell had a big fight a few weeks ago. They were finally celebrate Christmas separately. Russell in London with his family, and Katy flew to Hawaii with her friends.
